Pit Wall Stopwatch Support
Pit Wall Stopwatch is a motorsport stopwatch app for timing laps, splits, and driver sessions.
It is not an official race-control system, official results system, or certified timing authority. For official event notices, race results, regulations, and schedules, always use the event organiser or official motorsport channels.

Common Help Topics
Timing Sessions
Pit Wall Stopwatch lets you start, pause, resume, and reset stopwatch sessions. Tap Board supports 1–4 drivers; Classic supports 1, 2, or 4 drivers.
Laps And Splits
Use laps and splits to record timing points during a session. Summaries and exports are based on completed lap data.
Driver Labels
You can add labels for drivers or sessions. Labels are stored locally on your device.
Restore
If the app is closed while timing is active, Pit Wall Stopwatch can restore the active timing session from local device storage.
CSV Export
You can export completed lap data as a CSV file. The app opens your device share sheet so you can choose where to send or save the file.
If a sharing option does not appear, check that the destination app is installed and supports CSV or file sharing.
Sound, Haptics, And Glove Mode
Sound and haptic feedback can help during timing. Glove mode adjusts the app interface for easier trackside use. If sound or haptics do not work, check both the app settings and your device sound, vibration, and silent-mode settings.
Keep Screen Awake
Pit Wall Stopwatch can keep the screen awake during timing so the stopwatch remains visible while in use.
Troubleshooting
If the app does not behave as expected:
- Check that you are using the latest version.
- Close and reopen the app.
- Confirm the relevant app settings.
- Restart the device if the issue continues.
- Contact support with the details listed above.
Optional Analytics And Deletion Requests
In iOS 1.2.0 and later, optional usage analytics is off by default and can be enabled or disabled in Settings. Earlier iOS versions and the current Android app do not collect this analytics. Timing works fully offline with analytics off.
Opting out stops capture, cancels the active request, clears unsent events, and removes the local Analytics ID. New consent creates a new ID. Opting out or uninstalling does not erase data already received.
Before opting out or uninstalling, save the Analytics ID or deletion request from Settings and send it to motorsporthub-teamsa@outlook.com. We use PostHog's standard person deletion to delete the matching profile and associated events; processing is asynchronous. No driver names, lap times, or CSV files are needed.
